This site is tributed to Lunar Radiation, an arcade shoot 'em up game (like Tyrian and Raptor) under development. It has RPG elements like skilltrees and spells and is huge in content. There will be online highscore lists based on your online profile, so you can compare yourself with other players. There will be held competitions with prizes for great accomplishments.

Lunar Radiation is made by Embermoon Entertainment. It's made in C++ and OpenGL. Stay tuned!


Detailed Lunar Radiation features:

  • Facinating story and a few cinematics through the game
  • Five progressing difficulties: Novice, Veteran, Master, Legend, Godly (you continue with your profile on each one)
  • Completing a difficulty enables you to play any level in it, anytime
  • You get more slots for weapons and spells with higher difficulties
  • Map system where you can browse each planet and start the chosen level
  • Over 100 progressive required "story levels" per difficulty, and lots of additional optional "farming planets" as you progress in the game
  • Scripted bosses on all story planets and some optional ones
  • Hundreds of different enemies with both scripted and random enemy-spawns (including more powerful elite and unique enemies) with dependant AI
  • Unique enemies can use spells and have an aura that buffs the other on-screen enemies
  • Two currencies gained on each level: money and resources(resources can be transmuted in the shop)
  • Hundreds of different random spawning weapons in the shop between levels based on the progress in the game (with upgrades bought with resources and random special upgrades for each one)
  • 10 different techtrees ("skilltrees") with over 250 different techs that you can upgrade with the right resources gained on each level
  • Very powerful amplifier spells at the end of each techtree
  • Never-ending upgrades on weapons/techs (asymptotically balanced)
  • Hundreds of different shiptypes, shields and generators bought with money in the shop
  • Instant, buffs and collectible powerups
  • Awards(medals) and detailed statistics to track progress
  • Optional hardcore mode (if you die, you can't play more)
  • Customizable gems with graphical auras obtainable by trading with other players or through normal playing
  • Lighting effects
  • Advanced community groups system
  • And much more!


The techtree and weapon elements:

  • Fundamental - Physical damage with basic upgrades
  • Lunar - Combined elemental and chaos damage with advanced upgrades
  • Fire - Fire damage (elemental) with greed upgrades
  • Cold - Cold damage (elemental) with chill effect upgrades
  • Lightning - Lightning damage (elemental) with stun and static upgrades
  • Toxic - Toxic damage (chaos) with damage over time upgrades
  • Rampage - Physical damage with defense and crash upgrades (with a rampage spacecraft you can't use regular weapons, you must ram enemies, but you can use spells)
  • Magic - Magic damage (elemental) with pure-damage and special upgrades
  • Dark - Dark damage (chaos) with vampiric and death upgrades
  • Divine - Divine damage (chaos) with heal and immunity upgrades
